We are doing our best to keep up teaching activities on Campus WU for as long as possible. As a service for you, we have made this list with frequently asked questions (and answers) about distance learning:

🗨 Q: How will I be kept updated?

A: All important information (including updates from your course teachers) will be posted on ➔Learn and sent out by email – please check these channels on a regular basis!

💻 Q: How do I get access to my course materials?

A: Most of the materials you will need for your classes will be made available on ➔ learn.wu.ac.at. Your teachers may also contact you by email, so be sure to check your email account on a regular basis. You will need a VPN client to access to some restricted services (such as eJournals) ➔ VPN Network

👩🏽‍💻 Q: Where do I find the latest news regarding distance learning?

💾 Q: How can I send large amounts of data?

A: The WU OwnCloud is a safe and reliable tool for transferring data ➔ WU Owncloud

⌨ Q: I need Microsoft Office or other software to complete my assignments.

A: A number of different free software packages are available to WU students for downloading ➔ Private licenses

🧾 Q: How do I get access to digital resources, like eJournals, databases, and eBooks?

A: You will need a VPN client ➔ VPN client

📖 Q: What about the ÖH textbook exchange – is it still open?

A: To help prevent the further spread of the coronavirus , the ÖH textbook exchange (located in the Teaching Center building) will remain closed until further notice.
