“Vienna, a city famous for arts and music.”

Ivona, student of the Bachelor’s Program BBE at WU Vienna:

When I applied for BBE, I had already finished my first semester at another university. While I was happy with my chosen field, I was definitely looking for something more when it came to the academic environment. In my eyes, a perfect university should combine leading academics, motivated students, an extensive library collection, and personality enriching elements such as a variety of cultures and perspectives. I found all of the above and more at WU Vienna.

Initially, it was the combination of healthy competition and a dynamic student life that won me over. The wide range of practically oriented specializations was an additional plus, because in the fast-paced world we live in our knowledge should be applicable to practical problems. The fact that the library is located at the heart of the campus shows where WU’s values and priorities lie. Aside from the academic degree, one should not overlook the other elements that make a student’s journey worthwhile: Student clubs and study areas strengthen personal development and interaction among students. And you can have all of this in Vienna, one of the foremost centers of culture and entrepreneurship in Europe. I was thrilled to move to a city that has art and music running in its veins. Without any doubt, this is a perfect place where people with many different interests can grow and thrive, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.
