“Becoming a high achiever in the marketing world”

My checklist for deciding on a Master’s program was quite long, that I didn’t even think I would find a university or a degree program that would fulfill everything I was looking for.
On top of the checklist were: being a high ranking university, a Master’s degree program that combines theory with the contemporary business scenario, a curriculum which would cover strategy, analytics, real-world application as well as developing relevant personal skills to become a high achiever in the marketing world.
Imagine my delight when I got accepted for the MSc.Marketing program at WU, as the program not only fulfills my checklist, but is also conducted in a modern and a spacious university premise with state-of-the-art classrooms, a vast library and plenty of nice cafés in campus for students to socialize.
MSc.Marketing program comprises of a combination of modules which expand from market research design, data analytics, marketing strategy development, digital marketing to application of theory into marketing projects with company partners from both B2C and B2B scenario.
I feel fortunate to learn from a panel of lecturers who not only use novel methods of teaching, but are also motivating and accessible. The internationally diverse student body makes my “study abroad” experience complete.
Being a student of the MSc.Marketing program, I realize that I am optimizing my career prospects because of the quality of the degree program as well as the vast network of alumni and company partners.
Now in my 3rd semester, I feel that moving 7500km across the world from Sri Lanka to Austria, in order to study my Master’s degree program is extremely worth it.
