“With CEMS, you can have it all”
Klaudia Repacikova, Master Student CEMS at WU Vienna
For me, the CEMS program offered the perfect mixture of international experience, top ranked education and close contact with the corporate world… and living in beautiful Vienna is simply the
Before starting CEMS, I had already studied in Vienna and I loved it, so the choice of a city for my further studies was easy – I knew I wanted to stay here. This city has a special charm, no matter what season you get to spend here. For example, Christmas – Viennese Christmas markets, mulled wine stands and dazzling street decoration create a magical atmosphere like no other city does. You just cannot escape the cheerful Christmas mood here! After the lectures, you can even enjoy a nice, warm cup of mulled wine right at the university campus. On the other hand, in summer, you can chill and soak up the sun with your fellow CEMSies on campus, in the closeby Prater park or at one of the city beaches at the Danube canal. The city organizes a range of different outdoor events such as the Summer Night Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic or the music festival at the Danube island. It is something you don’t want to miss!
When deciding where to pursue my studies, I wrote down some criteria that were important for me. I wanted to further experience the world, get to know people from different cultures and get a world-class education. Fortunately, I came across the CEMS program at WU. The program offered everything I was looking for: an exchange at one of the 33 CEMS schools, a very high diversity of students from different parts of the world and one of the top-ranked management programs in the world. I applied right away – there was nothing more to think about 🙂
The combination of academic courses in Vienna as well as abroad, countless local and international events across entire Europe and many encounters and projects with companies have shaped me and my future career. Now, looking back, I couldn’t be happier to have made the choice to join the CEMS community at WU Vienna.
