This is Business Communication!
In the Master’s Program in Business Communication, students learn how global corporations can use communication to achieve business success and live up to their social responsibility at the same time. Factors like management skills, language comprehension, and intercultural as well as media competence are particularly important in this context. These skills are necessary if communication is to be part of a company’s value creation process in a digitally connected world.
5 reasons to study Business Communication:
- Double Degree and Exchange Options
- Cross-cultural and interdisciplinary scope
- Working on actual cases with real companies
- Combining communication, culture, and language
- Excellent career prospects
The internationally oriented, interdisciplinary master’s Program in Business Communication gives graduates a clear advantage on the job market thanks to the combination of a business and economics background and expert communication skills. Business Communication equips students with the know-how they need to communicate effectively on all available channels in a digitally connected world.
The program focuses on media and intercultural competence as well as diversity, and on how to use these skills strategically in corporate communications. Through interactive teaching, methods and concepts are not just learned in theory but also applied in practice by using simulations and conducting research projects in cooperation with corporate partners.
The first semester serves as an introductory phase and familiarizes students with fundamental concepts. Building on this foundation, the students can specialize in the three main pillars of the program from the second semester on, exploring these areas in depth in hands-on research projects: Business Communication and Language, Intercultural Business Communication, and Strategic Communication Management. A wide range of electives allows students to customize their studies. In the fourth and last semester, students write their master’s thesis to complete the program.
