Become a key player in digital business – You\u2019d like to develop digital business concepts or even start and manage your own business? With the Digital Economy MSc,<\/a> you can become an expert on the latest digital developments. Learn how to apply digital business models and solutions and become a leading player in innovation.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Digital Economy is an interdisciplinary program because digitalization touches and changes many different parts of our life, which in turn are the focus of many different academic disciplines. In our program, you will engage with people, methods and theories from business, economics, IT, IT law and other fields of study. While we will offer specializations in these subjects in the second half of our program. In the first half, we will build a common body of knowledge that will give you a thorough grounding in all these aspects.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    In the <\/span>first two semesters<\/span><\/b> you will learn foundations of Digital Economy from several perspectives, covering Strategic Aspects, Design Aspects, Implementation Aspects und Legal Aspects. You will also gain hands-on experience in our Business Project course, where you will be trained in front-to-end project management, from writing a proposal to planning and monitoring of digitalization projects.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Building on this solid foundation you have the opportunity to specialize by choosing one of our electives – \u201cInformation Systems,\u201d \u201cDigital Law and Economics,\u201d or \u201cDigital Strategy, Marketing, and Transformation.\u201d Moreover, you will start to prepare and write your master\u2019s theses. In addition, you can choose between a more business-oriented Industry Lab where you will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real life problems or a more research focused Research Lab to strengthen your academical career.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
